This past weekend, the Washington Nationals accomplished a rare feat that has only been done 9 times in the history of the MLB. Going into the 8th inning in a 1-1 ballgame against the Padres, Howie Kendrick took Craig Stammen’s pitch out of the yard. Right after, Trea Turner parked a ball dead center, followed by Adam Eaton and Anthony Rendon’s home runs of their own. In the span of 8 pitches, the Nationals hit 4 consecutive home runs.
The Nationals accomplished the same feat against the Brewers in 2017.
